What is Sakhar Free Shukrawar?
SAKHAR FREE SHUKRAWAR is a Conexus Foundation initiative, supported by Sanofi India, in collaboration with Department of Health, Government of Goa.
It is a fun competition where children compete in culinary skills, while learning more about good nutrition and better diabetes management.
In order to spread the awareness around Diabetes, we intend to imbibe healthy dietary practices among kids by involving them into cooking.
Cooking is a fun activity, where the family spends time together and bonds. Taking this idea forward, the contest is to create a platform that rewards children for innovating and learning something new in the kitchen. This is in the hope that ‘healthy recipes’ directly relate to the adoption of a healthy lifestyle.
Children can create a recipe by themselves or along with their parents.
